Unhappy Malcolm no longer in the middle - a sad day for affiliate marketing

I am gutted to receive confirmation that good ol' Mal has left Buy.at. One amazing, down-to-earth bloke, he put his heart and soul into building Buy.at and helped take it to the top in a relatively short space of time, so I fully respect his decision to move on, but it is sad indeed.

Just a few days back I wrote about a New Age in affiliate marketing, with many of the pioneers leaving, but I never imagined Mal would leave Buy.at. Ah, well, c'est la vie. I hope Mal will still be involved in affiliate marketing in some way, shape or form.

Agree with you Nadeem - I too was very surprised to learn that Mal had left - I thought he would be at buy.at forever.

Good luck though Mal and I'm sure you'll make a success of whatever you end up doing next.

I can't imagine someone like Mal falling off the radar!

Sad news for Buy.at but sounds like exciting times for Mal who's probably off to spend some hard earned dollar!

It would have been nice if we could all have said our goodbyes and tributes officially to Mal and Steve they have been part of affiliate marketing for so long and were certainly instrumental in helping Allkids get a good foothold in the early days - I, for one, would have liked the chance to personally say thankyou and wish them both good luck

just doesn't seem right this silent withdrawal - should have celebrated their involvement rather than let them simply slip out of site - it's just not cricket and an indication of how Buyat have changed since the early days

Elaine

Hope it's all good in the Red Car

Let me chip in here and say that is so not the case, I am sure you will see both of the in the very near future and they'll gladly have a drink or 6 with you, the last few months have been crazy for everyone involved, especially Malcolm who has done round the world about 14 times.

You will probably laugh when I tell you we haven't actually seen him in the buy.at London offices for months and months, and that's not because of a lack of trying.

Shak
