Add a new handle to a buy.at account

Hi

I'm trying to add a new website to my buy.at that will be seperate from my other domain name.

I believe I need to add a new handle to create this account. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is this the correct way to do what I want to do.

At the moment I have a sat nav based website on buy.at and I want to add a mobiles based website to the account.

I should be able to use one buy.at account rather than registering again?

Thanks for your help

David

Hi David,

No need to set up an extra account, you just need to add the new site URL to your organisation URL field in the management area and seperate with a comma and this will be registered to your account. When applying for program the account manager will assess the most relevant site.

Thanks for the reply Chris

I was rejected for a programme with my previous site. Can I reapply for the programme with my new website?

Thanks

David

Hi guys,

Apologies further to my previous answer you will need to contact the Account Manager for the program to reapply. We realise this is not the smoothest of systems so this is something we will be look to incorporate in new releases of our Management Area.

Alternatively if you do not know who the Account Manager for a particular program is you can contact aga.marchewka@buy.at or jennifer.soanes@buy.at who are members of the Affiliate Development team and should be able to assist you with your request

The 'Organisation URL' field on the Account Details page is not big enough for all my urls.

It doesn't seem to matter though as I still recieve commissions from a site that is not listed there.

If we've got some umbrella sites like UKseries - The premier collection of UK travel and tourism sites for all our UK sites, can we just use those in the URL field instead of listing every single site separately? That one for example is what the first 3 in my sig are under and would be pretty easy to spot what's most likely to be relevent to a campaign. (The other one has nothing to do with work).

Just with about 100+ of them and growing it's gonna be a very long field.

Hi Trev,

I can understand it would be difficult to list all the domains so the parent site is perfectly fine.

As always if you feel that you have been rejected for a program wrongly please get in touch with aga.marchewka@buy.at or jennifer.soanes@buy.at who should be able to help.

Thanks

Talking of approvals - do the merchants have to approve the applications or is that usually done by just affiliate managers? Just gives me an idea of the timescales for the 7 new ones we've applied for today so I can know whether to move onto other projects in the meantime.

Blooming affiliates, always think they're the only person wanting the AFM's attention.
