Just wondering how long it takes to get accepted onto a merchant's affiliate programme on buy.at?
I applied for Tesco Direct on Wednesday last week, still pending.
I applied for Littlewoods Extra the same day, was refused on Friday, I suspect because the site was incomplete at the time. I contacted support@buy.at with details of the finalised website but have had no response.
I am the current account manager for the Tesco programme on buy.at - please be aware that the merchant carries out the approvals for the direct programme at present.
I will however pass on your request for speedy approval and hopefully will have a decision for you shortly.
In the meantime if there's anything else I can help you with please feel free to contact me.
As a merchant I can say that I try to find time to approve/reject affiliates 2-3 times per week.
The buy.at management area is not always as intuitive as it could be with the Disputed Transactions and Pending Affiliates being 'hidden' away in sub menus. Other networks actually have a link from their front page (CJ & Webgains), flagging pending affiliates so you don't miss them.
If you are a merchant in a hurry , dipping in to see if sales are ticking over ok you can easily miss/forget to check it on some networks compared to others.

Hi Energyhelpline,
Thank you for your comments. We are currently in the process of updating our Management Area and any constructive criticism is welcome. I shall forward on your points on to our developers to ponder. We are always looking to improve our systems so your suggestions are very welcome.
I am the account manager for the Mothercare programme - its the merchant who reviews affiliate applications on this programme so i'm busy pushing this through for you now.
Will post an update as soon as I receive feedback.
I'm not being critical here at all...but IMO and based on experience affiliate application response time is huge in getting new affiliates off and running when they are interested in promoting the program. I try to review and approve affiliates multiple times a day...and especially over the weekend when many affiliates are working on their sites. Something to consider anyway.
