  Bingo Sites on buy.at

Has anyone else found that bingo merchants on buy.at seem to take a much longer time to approve sales than others? This year it has always taken over 2 months for them to be approved (and so 3 months before I get paid). I can't understand why? Bingo sites don't have the problem of someone returning an item, cancelling etc... Once a user signs up and deposits x amount that's it. Right? I really would expect it be much faster... and it is with Webgains and AF.

When I contactd buy.at a few weeks about this I was told that the limit for a transaction to be pending is 2 months but this is not the case.

I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences this? Normally i'm not that concerned by slow payment, but obviously bingo commision is quite large and easily missed.

Hi philbarber,

Can you let me know the programmes you're referring to and i'll have a check into it for you..

Sometimes getting approved on a programme can take a while for a few reasons, but often a friendly nudge to the account manager here can speed things up for you

Also with payments - our system will automatically 'approve' pending sales after 2 months, and you will be paid in the next payment run. So if you make a sale on the 22nd of June, the latest it will be approved is 22nd August, and you will probably have to wait until the payment run on 24th September to actually have the cash in your hand (payment runs are consolidated around the 22nd and 23rd of the month, then cheques are sent on the 24th).

It's basically a fail safe, giving out merchant enough time to evaluate the sales, but also making sure affiliates are paid for sales if the merchant hasn't gotten around to approving them.

Anyway, hope that clears a few things up for you!

Cheers,
Dan.
