As this is a new forum catering to Canadians, I'm wondering where you guys may be based and also what sort of opportunities you may be looking for.

We have some wonderful merchants that are always looking for Canadian traffic. You may want to take a look at their affiliate programs. AutoTap, B&B Electronics and American Medical ID for instance, accept Canadian traffic. AMID in particular has a sister site called Universal Medical ID geared specifically to Canadian customers. We also have Canadian-based online retailers such as Go!Bio Organics and Excel Toner. Excel Toner offers their site in English and French.

Is language an important factor for you as an affiliate? Do you want to see more French-language banner creative? What about the type of products and services currently being offered by merchants in the affiliate marketing industry?

Just to add to Maranda's post, we also work with Cuddle Blanket, who is also a Canadian based merchant in our network.

For our money Cuddle Blanket is an ideal merchant to promote this winter especially here in Canada. It's been ridiculously cold! Brrrrrrr!Even by Canada standards.

Hatley is still on the lookout for affiliates with Canadian traffic. If you're interested in promoting via family, fashion and lifestyle verticals, contact us. This is an especially good time to promote Hatley, as their products were recently featured on The Today Show in the US and in Redbook magazine. They're gaining more exposure and affiliates promoting to a Canadian audience are enjoying sales on spring merchandise (i.e. rainboots, girly tees, hoodies and more). :tup
