It's the FA Cup final this weekend where Manchester City will be hoping to win their first major trophy over the Sheikh Mansour era. Having secured a place in next season's Champions League on Tuesday, City will be looking to make it a successful week when they travel to Wembley for their first cup final in 30 years. The Citizens have won the trophy 4 times (but not since 1969) and have been runners up 4 times. That is in stark contrast to Stoke City who are appearing in the final for the first time in their history but having drawn with City at the Britannia earlier in the season, the Potters shouldn't be dismissed as rank outsiders. We make City slight favourites at the moment but with such a fierce backing behind them, don't count out Stoke causing an upset.
It is unfortunate that on a weekend that could see City win their first trophy in 35 years, neighbours Manchester United could burst their bubble by drawing with Blackburn and securing a historic 19th League title. United need a solitary point and having beaten Chelsea last week and with Blackpool at home next week, The Red Devils are hot favourites to get the point they need this week to enable them to rest players ahead of the Champions League final later this month.
In other football news, West Ham will be relegated this weekend if they lose to Wigan at the DW Stadium whilst even a draw won't be good enough if Wolves and Birmingham win. Blackpool slipped into the bottom 3 last week and with Manchester United away on the final day, the Tangerines must beat Bolton if they are to stand any chance of staying up.
With all this football over the weekend, there is plenty for your users to promote with BETDAQ. As always, if I can be of any help, please do get in touch using the address below.
