As you be may be aware The Sun BIngo programme closed on buy.at on 31st July and I thought it would be courteous to let you know where it is heading.

News Group Newspapers (owners of The Sun and News of the World) are delighted to announce that they are re-launching their Sun Bingo (Sun BINGO! Online - Welcome) and NotW Bingo (News of the World Bingo) products with online gaming company Gamesys.

Sun Bingo and NotW Bingo will leave their existing supplier (Tombola) on the 26th August 2008 and will be immediately available on the same day through the new bespoke bingo platform built and powered by Gamesys.

Gamesys are the company behind the hugely successful Jackpot Joy brand, and whilst they continue to operate JPJ, the new Sun Bingo and NotW Bingo sites are not the same product.

Barry Sage, Head of Gambling at News Group Digital commented, “We’re excited to be re-launching our Sun Bingo and NotW Bingo products with such an established online gaming partner in Gamesys”.

“Working with Gamesys will give us complete control over our bingo product. We will continue to improve and develop the product with our bingo players in mind”.

“We think it is important to point out that we are not running Sun Bingo or NotW Bingo on the Jackpot Joy software. Gamesys have built a bespoke bingo platform that considers the needs of our players. Is the Sun Bingo affiliate programme still live? I thought it had closed.

If it isn't live, when will the afifliate programme be live and on which network?

As far as i know the affiliate program is not live on buyat or premier affiliates anymore.

If it relaunched, i never got an email.

Nick or someone from Buy.at can you please explain what is happening with the new sun bingo? Will it be live on Buy.at after the relaunch? or will be on another affiliate network?

Hi guys,

Unfortunately the programme won't be running through buy.at or any other affiliate network as the Sun Bingo have decided to move this all in-house.

The platform is being built by Gamesys at the moment but I'll try and get some registration details for you from the client so you can start promoting it as soon as it goes live on the 26th August.

I wouldn't expect the sun affiliate program to start for at least a few more weeks yet, I doubt they will want any scrubby affiliates stealing there cross over punters.
