betuk.com - Seriously Late payments

Hello,

In addition to my recent post on Coral.co.uk being late paying their affiliates via Tradedoubler, I'm after your comments and advice on the betuk.com affiliate program.

betuk are owned by Sportingbet but I have been waiting nearly 4 months for commissions and they are breaching their own affiliate terms and conditions.

They claim to have paid half their affiliates on time but the other half not,

If you refer to the betuk affiliate terms and condtions (which we are both bound to), please note items 4.2 and 6.1. As follows:

4.2 - BetUK.com shall pay Reseller monthly, in accordance with this contract for the preceding calendar month, assuming the amount owing is greater than £100. Payment for the preceding month shall be made prior to the 20th day of each month.

6.1 - All payments due to Reseller by BetUK.com shall be made on or before the twentieth (20) day of each month for the immediately preceding calendar month assuming the amount owing is greater than £100 and BetUK.com has received an invoice from the Reseller. Additionally, statements may be adjusted by BetUK.com from time-to-time to reflect overpayments, consumer chargebacks and/or, credits or underpayments by BetUK.com

I have e-mailed betuk several times and spoken with Shawn Short and David (?). I have constantly been fobbed off with them blaming Sporting bet accounts department and then taking no responsibility for any of this.

First off no apologies needed for having a go at me. I completely understand. I would more upset if I were in your shoes. To be honest though, David is handling the affiliate payments and the problem is that he is chasing SBT accounts for them to pay out. It’s not directly BetUK. I wish I had better news, but I don’t. I wish there was more that I could personally do but I can’t. I’m not passing the blame, It’s just that neither David or I make the payments. Half of the affiliates have been paid, we don’t understand why the other half haven’t.

I do appreciate your patience as you have been ever so, w/o reason to be.

Was wondering if anyone had any advice or experiencing the same problems with betuk? Appreciate your comments as this has gone beyond a joke.

P.S. their affiliate backoffice is never updated or shows the correct commission figure, plus their new banners show Dennis Bergkamp - didn't he retire last season!!

Once I get this resolved, sometime in 2008, rest assured I won't be promoting betuk in the future and encourage my fellow affiliates to do the same!
