I just wanted to know if anyone here is interested in gaming CPA offers and what types of merchants you would like to see on CPA deals, as well as what type of offer?
The more feedback positive or negative, the better!
Personally I like to do hybrid deals where I get a bit of CPA plus a bit of rev share (well a lot of each is the best scenario - lol)...
My feeling is that you can never be 100% certain as to how well an operator is going to perform unless you test them with your audience... If you are on a hybrid and the operator performs badly, then at least you may walk away with some CPA in your pocket (to hopefully cover your risk/lost revenue promoting someone else).
But, if the operator performs well and the audience responds favourably, then the rev share becomes the long term residual income that helps sustain our business.
However, if the CPA is exceptionally high, then it would be tempting to run a cpa only campaign.
It's all swings and roundabouts... but we rarely take on a new operator on a rev share only basis. We may move to a rev share only deal if players spend consitently significant amounts over a long period of time.
