Poker adsense

Hi guys, I have just searched poker on google.co.uk and found no sponsored links. Is there a specific reason why there are no ads?
It seems strange that people aren't touting poker sites or selling poker ebooks this way.

anybody know why this is?

Although I don't work in that sector, I believe that any ad's promoting gambling are banned from adwords.

That is correct Gambling can not be promoted via adwords:
