What affiliates like the most...

Hey all,

I am just wondering, what is that you guys appreciate most - good service, good tracking or high commissions? What is that actually make you trust in the affiliate program you applied for?

all the above and a program that converts (as if it doesn't the rest doesn't really matter).. simple as that really.

Is bigboxbingo having an affy program btw?

I know it's all above, but I was just wondering what makes some programmes better than others, like if you had to choose to promote just one, what would influence your decision... I guess how program converts is a fair enough answer, but I reckon there's more to that, like the amount of RevShare or the lifetime value of a player?

Put a link up... if it gets leads it converts, if it doesn't it doesn't

As Jason says, converting is the most important and running a close second is on time payments.

It doesn't matter if you pay 50% or 10% rev share, the programs that convert the best will get the higher spot on my websites (converting means from clicks to leads to depositors), also service etc, as long as you pay me then I don't have to talk to you unless I have to

One thing that wasn't mentioned in your list is quick validation of commissions, and I think thats important to many affiliates

Sylwia Here's my feedback for what its worth!

*High commission rate
*Easy to navigate affiliate site with good selection of banners ( a few of the new bingo sites owned by a greek company which are popping up left right and centre have the affiliate management software which I like .. its clean.. uncluttered.. to the point.. and I dont need to be a graduate of Harvard School of Mathamatical Computation in order to understand whats happening with my funds).. For me there are a few high converting programmes out there that I dont promote.. mainly because of the affiliate management software.. biggest grip here is sites which dont let you download banners in gif or whatever to your hard drive in order to use for promotion.. sites which supposedly like to only give codes because they want to keep the banners live and updated usually dont and many times I find the dreaded "red x" where the banners should be casue either their banner managers or software is out-of-sync.. it makes my own site look awful when that happens.. I give those sites a miss ..
*I promote more sites which offer players some free "try out money" especially for bingo
(not everyone likes that casue mainly attracts "freebie hunters" which dont convert well as a rule for most gaming.. but the exception I feel is bingo where there is such a big market and players really do like to try out before they "buy"... also it gives players a chance to check out the chat rooms.. and if they meet thier buddies there then I find they are more likely to stay!)
* Payment on time without the need for the affiliate to "beg"!.. and no stupid nonsense like asking the affiliate to submit an invoice etc to get what is owed!
*Allowing the affiliate to choose his/her own method of payment and not be dictated to.
*An affiliate manager who does not harrass me with tons of followup emails and wanting to know "how they can help"!..as mentioned already .. I will ask for help when "I" need it.
*An affiliate manager who responds to my emails or contact in a timley manner is important to me.. Biggest grip is "being ignored".. dang do I hate that

Well thats about it.. but I guess commission rate and prompt payments will deff be at the top of the list!

Just watched the NetPlay bingo and it looks very entertaining. Bingo is getting so massive in the UK that taking the fun value to a new level can only boost things.

What affiliates like the most...conversion, accurate reporting, their players getting paid quickly, easy to use deposit methods and of course getting paid themselves.

The real question is how to recruit affiliates in the first place... Some ignore emails, some hang up on you, some just don't have any contact details nowhere... I guess each one has their own style and different ways of making business. I think that if every affiliate would write on their site: "If you want to discuss affiliation - here's exactly what you need to do:" then we would know what to do and everything would be much easier and better for both ends...
