Affiliate Managers - Exhibiting at Trade Shows
I usually never make posts that are targeted primarily to affiliate managers but I really wanted to throw this out there as we have a lot of them here at A4U. With the Poker Conference coming up next month and A4U Expo this October there are going to be plenty of affiliates looking to make new contacts, find programs to promote solidify current relationships.
Here is an excerpt from the poker conference site that sums this up pretty well...
"At trade shows the attendee’s perception is the exhibitor's reality. This holds true no matter how large or small your company is, and no matter how limited or vast your products and services are. The attendee will leave with a perception of your company based on a) your exhibit, b) your booth staff and c) the literature and information you provide."
A lot of companies never come to shows prepared to recruit new affiliates and meet with the current producing affiliates properly. Having your staff prepared and present at major industry events are vital for your long term success. Tightening your current relationships can produce additional revenue you never though existed. Networking with new partners can open more revenue streams than you ever had before as well. A well executed plan at a conference can yield a return that few programs ever capture.
