Exclusive Games at tombola.co.uk

Hi Everyone,

To confirm what some of you already know. From 26th August tombola's suite of Bingo and other multiplayer games; bingo90, bingo80, bingo75, Cinco, Hamster Race and Battleships will be exclusively available on tombola.co.uk. We will be launching a big marketing campaign, which includes a TV Campaign to support the website and tombola.co.uk players will be able to keep playing their favourite games by logging in to tombola.co.uk

We are launching our own affiliate programme and the details of this programme will be published a couple of weeks before 26th August.

In the mean time if anyone would be interested in finding out more about our plans please get in touch.

I hate promoting programs that keep changing supplier/network - what a pain changing all the links etc! I wonder what happens to the six months of rev share I was getting from Sun Bingo?

Hi PaulEdd, yeah i am really starting to think of promoting programs now on a CPA basic until things settle in for a 'constant, guaranteed' residual share.

Hi and thanks for the welcome.

The Sun will be working with a new online bingo partner from 26th August.

tombola is changing strategy to market our bingo games under our own brand. This will mean that every aspect of our operation will be under our control. Our games, in-house software development, Alderney gaming license, customer service, chat moderation and marketing( including our affiliate programme).

We'll be making more announcements about our plans closer to 26th August

The Sun Bingo programme will be closing on both Buy.at and PAN on July 2008 due to Sun Bingo changing suppliers from Tombola to a new supplier. All six month revenue share earnings will be paid out in the form of compensation at the end of August. The amount of compensation each affiliate will recieve will be worked out looking at individual affiliate actuals from previous months and a projected compensation figure will be reached by replicating the month-on-month growth seen in previous months. This figure will be based on the number of players still playing within their six month time frame.

All Sun Bingo affiliates will be contacted individually regarding their compensation towards the end of August. I apologise on behalf of Sun Bingo for the disruption to the campaign.

If you have any questions, please forward these onto your network account managers and Sun Bingo will be happy to answer all queries as soon as possible.

Hi Everyone,

We would like to confirm Nic's (I-level) post about the current situation regarding Sun Bingo affiliates.

Sun Bingo will be closing all affiliate accounts (both PAN and Buy.at) on 31st July 2008. All six month revenue share deals will be compensated as in Nic's post above and affiliates will be contacted on an individual basis to confirm the compensation amount.

We will be working with a new bingo product supplier from 27th August 2008. Unfortunately we cannot reveal specifics about who the supplier will be at this stage but all affiliates can be assured that we will have a new competitive affiliate deal in place for the launch of the new product. We will be contacting all affiliates in due course with information relating to the new Sun Bingo affiliate scheme.

Thanks for the update on the Rev Share for Sun Bingo, the compensation seems like a fair deal to me.

However, I would warn merchants about changing suppliers too often, as an affiliate I get ticked off changing links and on rev share deals it makes me nervous about losing money. In the past I've just stopped promoting merchants who bounce around networks.

Also from experience Buy.at's tracking is top notch - I hope the new system is as good.

Virtual fusion must be odds on favourites, but would rather the Globalcom software.

It wouldn't surprise me if they joined St Minver tho.

Just hope Sun goes stand alone, they must have the players for it.

I'd second that...

I've known Tombola for a long long time now - so hope they do well and will be happy to promote them.

Will see where The Sun sets before deciding on that one though. Imo they did well because they had something different from other white labels.

We know The Sun are closing at the end of the month - would have been cool to have a smooth "starts 1st August" transition for both programs so that affiliates aren't left with out of date content for a few weeks.
