My balance has taken a nose dive, I have 14 Reds all from UK Betting and it looks like they are saying they are not valid sales???????

Ive got 4 as well not sure whats going on?

Is anyone from CJ about to clear this up?

Must be CJs new way of showing reversals? I had 3 yesterday that looked like that from Shoe-Shop.com (a notorious site for reversals!)

I also have 4 from last month and 1 for this month, which Im not happy with.

I just got another 2 red writing sales added and $80 taken from my balance, but if it is getting deleted why is it saying accepted?

All the info about the new "corrections" system is on the CJ site. You should read the info that appears when you log in, it tells you about new features etc.


Log in to CJ and you'll see the following message (it's been there since the weekend's upgrade):

If you go to CJU online and click on "Transaction Reporting and Product Catalog Enhancements" you'll be able to find:

Corrections
Corrections are now listed in transaction reports as separate transactions with the amount of the correction. The "Reversed" status for transactions has been replaced with a new "Corrected" field.

It is al very well there new Revbersal system but why are we all getting so many reverse all of a sudden? I dont think UKbetting had reverese any previous sign up s I had until this weekend.

Maybe UK Betting have just read the advertiser section on CJU and realised they can reverse stuff!

My theory is that when they started with CJ they wanted to become one of the top rated bookies, so they offered a good commission rate and free bets to increase the conversion rate. They fairly quickly became the best performing advertiser on CJ (by a substantial margin - their 3 month EPC is almost $300!), and now they're trying to reduce their costs. Firstly they reduced the cookie to 1 day, and now they're checking all the leads to make sure they're valid.

Drop them then.

But I bet even with reversals they'll still be the best performing bookie on CJ, and certainly better than the bookies on TD and DGM.

Most merchants reverse transactions from time to time, some merchants have ridiculously high reversal rates (I've seen over 50%!).
I don't think you can call it a con unless you have proof that they're reversing genuine transactions.

I think what's more likely is that they allowed a lot of transactions through in the past that should have been reversed, and they're only now looking at each one now they realise how much it's costing them.

Lets face it they can reverse what they like and just say tuff.

Will they investigate everyone, I doubt it but I sure as hell will ask them to do it as something is not right here. Soon as a merchant is happy that they can reverse a certain percentage you soon have to start working the program not based on $40 a sign up but on a sign-up to reverse rate they will only bring that value down.

Not had any where near 14 reversed from Bet 365.

What percentage of leads have been reversed?

And what is the reason given in the transaction report?

I've had no reversals from UK Betting at all (from about 40 leads).
I have my fingers crossed that I don't get any. But I would expect some reversals for any program, if it starts getting above 10% I get suspicious.

Must have read my post as they have now knocked back 17 more.. so that's 31 in total today... will let you know the reasons in a few moments.. better be bloody good is all I can say.
