  Help needed with reports

Can anybody tell me how I run off a report on CJ that shows impressions, click through's and sales for one merchant per month?

I've tried using the advanced generator which looks as though it should do the job; but I can only get it to generate a report showing transactions, i.e. sales. I can't seem to get a report for clicks etc.

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Kieron

  Re: Help needed with reports

While on the subject of reports, I need something similar.

I sent an email through the CJ system over 6 mths ago but got no response.

I need a report to tell me the joined merchants I have that I am yet promoting.

I could ascertain this by whether there had been any impressions or not because I include the tracking pixel on all CJ links.

In one CJ account I have over 350 US merchants but am not able to tell the ones I am neglecting to promote!

I have the same problem with Linkshare so if anyone here has any ideas or if any of the ASPs are listening please respond.

  Take a look at Revtrends

Might be worth you taking a look at the Revtrends product.

Once you register your network accounts it will 'suck' all the data from all your merchants into a single report.

This quickly shows performance of every merchant and provides some very nice graphical reporting as to who's performing and who isn't.

It will also solve your problem of orphan programs you have joined but not really promoted. There's a promo code you can use for a free 2 week trial-

Yes Revtrends is good.

Give the trial a go and if you like what you see - you can keep on going. You can learn a great deal in just the two weeks alone on who is performing and who's not.

AffTrack Enterprise is what they say I would need and as that site shows no prices it means mega bucks... kind of like when I was contacted by Hitwise, they didn't talk prices until they showed the demo and after they told me I just laughed.

One account counts as one network. So with the basic service you could track all TD, CJ, AW, DGM, and AF programs.

The enterprise is for 15 accounts? -

The $5,000 monthly limit might stumble you though

I wonder what kind of issues revtrends gives the networks when it comes to picking up the data, you imagine what it would be like if they where checking thousands of account for people on say TD.. heck I find it takes ages for me to check TD never mind them checking my account and everyone else... wonder if they add to TD being slower at that stuff or if in fact they are a help, like for example is the program collecting it at say out of hours times 4am and the such when no one bar Carl will be up LOL

true.. but considering that the kind of affiliates that will be using this service will be their big affiliates, so they shouldn't really mind.

Revtrends last updated for me at 11/28/02 5:00:00 AM - whether thats UK or US time is another matter!

Kieron, as far as I can see it's not actually possible.

A while back I wanted to get a report of what I had earned every month and from who but it didn't seem possible either.

I think CJ could do with studying some of TD's reports.

I dont know how to do it either but until JF confirms it cant be done I'll hold off saying its impossible.
Annoying really as while I know some people just track by Network, I do track by merchant & currently use the monthly top 50 advertisers report & then add up all the amounts for the same merchant where I've used different link ids.
I do try to use the same link id for everything on a merchant but if you want to use cjs product links then it falls over.
I keep meaning to convert product links to "advanced links" based on the same underlying link but its a lot of work & as its not actually going to bring in any extra money it doesn't seem worth it.
