Jesus credit card

l am very surpised the way Capital One UK let the own of jesus.com be a affiliate of there program.Take a look and you will see how he is taking the piss with the name jesus.com and offering so called credit cards with images of jesus but Capital One UK do not.

This site has been kicking around for years... as you can imagine he has had the usual death threats and attempts on his life... I am surprised Bank of Scotland don't have him signed up to the cards they do with themes, then again the Church of Scotland own lots of shares in that bank so I doubt they would be to impressed.

If he ever gets a real credit card off the ground, then I think I will start making use of 666.org.uk and get a devil of a deal for folk. By the way that domain name was inherited from a company I bought.

He is misleading visitors by saying "Not only do you get to carry around my image" also "Jesus wants all of his followers to apply, regardless of their current credit situation" and l think Capital One UK should drop him.

Well Zaq what I would say is don't get involved.. nothing to do with us really.. that's for Capital One to see and sort out himself.. I don't think anyone would like it if someone didn't like the way we promoted something and then told on us to the merchant. Now if the guy was a spammer or doing something that effects the reputation of affiliate marketing in general then far enough.

In this case he is called Jesus and he has his own followers of the web site, so he has not lied.. the carry my image around I guess is not true but if you have a big problem with it send him an email. After all one day it might be you, that someone goes to a merchant about before they even drop you a note to allow you a chance to fix what ever is wrong.

supercod i did send email to jesus.com telling him he is mislending visitors in the way he is marketing Capital One UK.

Ok as I really don't care about this. I say fair enough if it's upsetting you then fine, but this guy is legally called Jesus and what he is saying is not a lie, if he, as being called Jesus wants his web site followers to apply.

At the end of the day if he is doing something wrong the ultimate trademark holder "GOD" will sort him out when he is goes up stairs

Just keep in mind it's you trying to get this guy removed from the program today and I am defending his right to say what he likes.. Tomorrow it might be you that someone is trying to get removed from a program for no real good reason.. I would defend your rights also when that happens

What I would say is that unless this guy is affecting your business directly, like stealing content from your site or something then leave it be.. The guy is a crank not a crook!

By the way, I just had a thought.. this guy is not a UK person so why link to a UK bank???

I know 2/3 years ago he had a real credit card via NetCards or who ever they where (gone out of business I think) .. Anyway the point.. He has his server set-up to show a page to us UK people (well only the one's of us who’s ISP transmits as a .uk and not .com).. have a look at the Google Cached page, please note you can do more technical tests to prove we see one page and other see another version but I am not going to get in to explaining that right now.

Anyway what he has done with showing us one page and showing US folk another is rather very good as most of us that can do it don't bother because mostly we are lazy LOL.
