Did you guys hear about the speculation that CJ may offer contextual ads like Google Adsense? Someone who was at CJU wrote an article about it. It's on the front page of www.webproworld.com today but tomorrow will probably just be in their affiliate forum if you miss it today.
If they really do it and it helps affiliates make more money, I'm all for it. Curious to hear your thoughts and ideas.
It's not too difficult to create your own contextual ads if you have a product database.
I've written a php script that I can add to a page that looks at the page's meta tags, and finds related products to advertise.
I plan to modify it to use on a webmail system I run, so people will see ads related to the content of their emails.
