I'm not 100% sure you can, I found this spammy cheap flights site that are doing it in the US, i think they're using mod_rewrite though so theres no way of telling how.

They don't talk much.

I've been asking for about a year now to have the search box open in a new window.

Not really much to ask for is it?

Now it looks like Opodo are converting better, so Expedia will be getting a lot less traffic for the rest of the month. Seems the only way to hit these people - drop traffic to zero.
