EPC stands for average earnings per 100 clicks (C being the Roman symbol for 100)

The rating illustrates the ability to convert clicks into commissions.

For affiliates (publisher) , a merchant's (advertiser) EPC shows how well that advertiser converts traffic into actual sales or leads.

EPC is published in two forms, 7-day and 3-month. So you can ascertain recent performance (7 day) or average performance over a longer duration (3 month).

It should only be used as a benchmark reference, but it does give a good guide to whether that program has the potential to be a good performer or not.

the bottom line is volume yet so many merchants seem to judge you by the epc..its totally crazy

i can have one click and one sale for a max epc..or 10 clicks and 2 sales...which is better?...but on paper the first example has the better epc......
