We have noticed with ever increasing frequency with US merchants recently that their only concern is network EPC based on the recent amount of relationships closed.
This even happens before you have really sent a major number of click thrus, the pounce & deactivate seems to be at 100 clicks.
In communication with them when you can get past the really impersonal communciations like
"We regret to inform you that the Commission Junction advertiser XYZ has chosen to expire its affiliation with you effective ABC date

Certainly more effectively if communicated from offset.
Why don't CJ top & tail the 10% extremes to prevent this? As one merchant suggested using the Befree platform so that EPC is not affected, unfortunately we don't like the Befree platform / interface or non generally non consolidated payments in this case.
