  Citibank Cards - Approvals?

I've just been looking at the Approvals rate on Citibank card applications.

The batch of approvals on 8th Oct seemed to cover applications with an event date of the end of August.

The batch of approvals on 15th Oct was empty for us.

The batch of approvals on 25th Oct seemed to cover applications with an event date of early October.

ie. We have had no applications with a September event date approved yet.

Is this the same for everyone?

Our conversions are looking pretty poor.

Cheers

Ang.

Our approvals way down this month. We have had only one approval with a September event date and that was posted on 25 Oct. (None in September either.)

couple of approvals from September but the conversions have dropped through the floor since the early summer - i suspect they've tightened up their approval criteria - anyone else seen this

yup I thinking they've decided they only want gold card standard members now,

they "tweaked" the credit score before, seems this time they've actually used a blunt machete

I can't even be bothered to email them to see what they've fecked up now, will just replace them,

basically now it's just a card same as any other except the epc is shocking, at least before it was a somewhat adverse/impared credit angle to market it on.

now it hasn't even got that it's not worth page space anymore by the looks of it.
