Thumbs down Marbles Credit Card - no lead fee anymore?

Lead fee was £3 I think, then it was reduced to £1 and now there's no mention of any lead fee at all. We are asked to approve the new terms? Surely they can't be scraping the lead fee entirely?

(Incidentally, the description still mentions lead fee of £3 twice - very professional.)

Aside from the fact that they no longer seem to be paying any lead commission, as of today Marbles were supposed to be implementing a new credit card offer - 0% on balance transfers for 9 months and typical 14.9%APR variable. According to their email dated 1 March we should have received a new URL before now - no sign of that yet. None of the text or banner links have yet been updated either, they are all still showing the 12.9% offer.

Hi,

Allow me to clarify. The new product went live on our online advertising on Wednesday 8th March, as communicated to all our affiliates. Naturally, we wanted to make sure the affiliates who push the most traffic for us were the first to be set up with our new product URL. Our larger affiliates began promoting our new product on Thursday 9th, and once we were sure everything was working ok I set about informing all our other affiliates.

I'm fully aware that some of our affiliates are unhappy with the removal of the lead payment, however we are still one of the top payers for credit cards in terms of commission, and we have every confidence that our new product will have a significant effect on your EPC. Furthermore, I informed all our affiliates that we were planning to remove the lead payment - to which I had no negative response.

With reference to the program description - I am currently unable to change this on CJ's interface. CJ are aware of this and obviously we hope to update the information ASAP.

We now have a fantastic product for you to promote - 0% for 9 months on Balance Transfers, Typical 14.9%APR, plus a competitive commission structure. It's now up to our affiliates now to make the most of this great commission earning opportunity!
