No it just means it is another example to give CJ why their wonderful plans stink of techy bad breath.
The default links are now javascript in the CJ interface because they obviously know infinately more than the tens of thousands of people that use CJ each day and such can instigate things that are far above the limited combined resources and intelligence that affiliates could ever have.
After CJ rather humbly backed down on making them compulsory they decided to put spin on it and say that you can use normal html links still for a little longer though they did not commit themselves to saying when they will be removed. You have to look in the interface and see which link code is the html one to collect as the default is javascript.
In my honest opinion i would switch links to another network just to give them the kick in the shins that they deserve for being so anti affiliate for so long. I have nothing against CJ apart from generally being a complete waist of internet space in comparison to the other networks and i do hope they sort their act out.
All of their decisions or advances are never born from their affiliates perspective, nearly always from higher management and tech heads who do not deal with the real world. If i
am wrong i stand corrected though it has to be said if the ideas come from the people on the ground then it does not say too much for them....
Rant over, CJ pissed me off so much over the last 18 months that i cant be bothered with them any more. 18 months of general inconvenience is quite fair do you not think?
Bin them.... will make your life easier.
