Help us celebrate the continuing success of the Otto-UK Affiliate Program!
We have launched Otto-UK’s first Affiliate Partner Contest and we have three great opportunities for you to get involved.
Whether you’re a large or small affiliate, a brand new member or an old partner, there’ll be a prize you can aim for – and just in time for Christmas!
The contest will be run across the following Otto-UK affiliate programs on the Commission Junction network:
Freemans
Kaleidoscope
Grattan
Look Again
Montage
Each brand will be taken as an individual entry into the contest – so the more brands you promote, the more chances you’ll have to win. Winners will be decided across all brands - so if you concentrate your efforts on one brand, you still have a great chance of being rewarded.
All contests will run from 12pm on 9th October to 12am on 11th November, and are open to our entire affiliate partner base and to those who join within the contest period. Entry for the first two contests is automatic to our members, while our Ingenuity Award requires manual submission, as outlined below.
Contest 1: Greatest Percentage Increase in Items Sold
Aimed at our new and low-volume affiliates, our first competition will reward those with the greatest percentage-increase in items sold, based on your current performance. If you’re new to the Otto programs, a base-rate of 2 sales per week will be used to calculate percent increase in sales. Current affiliates will have the average over the last 6 months used as their base-rate (or 2 sales/week, whichever is higher).
First Prize: Philips 42” Plasma Television (RRP £799.99)
Runner-up: 4gig 3rdgen video iPod Nano (RRP £99.99)

Contest 2: Greatest Increase in Gross Sales
Aimed at rewarding our large affiliates, this competition rewards the affiliate with the greatest gross increase in sales volume (“Sale Amount” in your Commission Junction interface), compared to your previous 6 months performance.
First Prize: Philips 42” Plasma Television (RRP £799.99)
Runner-up: 4gig 3rdgen video iPod Nano (RRP £99.99)
Duration: 12pm 9th October 2007 to 12am 11th November 2007
Contest 3: Affiliate Ingenuity and Innovation Award
Do you run an unusual or innovative publishing program? Do you use social networking widgets, or an ingenious Web 2.0 search interface? If you advertise our brands in a way that distinguishes your program from the crowd, we want to hear from you!
Send an email to
AffiliateTeam@otto-uk.com during the period of the competition (October 9th – November 11th) with a brief outline of your program, together with a link to your site/widget/clever PPC campaign. If you impress the Otto and Commission Junction judging panel, you could win some superb prizes just in time for Christmas!
Even if you don’t run your own innovative program, do you know of an affiliate colleague who does? If someone inspires you, and they’re on one of our programs, why not nominate them for their hard work?
Affiliate marketing is constantly evolving, and we want to reward those leading the charge.
