CJ's Explanation for Money Disappearing

I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. One day I log into my account and around £1,500 has been deducted from the "Balance" at the top of the account area. I email CJ and (six days later) I get a response with the most confusing explanation I've ever heard. The words "commission" and "transaction" were repeated alot and the only thing I could make out was that one is coverted into the other the week before payout and that resulted in £1500 being deleted from my balance - i.e. I never really earned that £1500, the system was just guessing how much commision I had earned up until that point.

That makes no sense to me and the Help Centre has no extra info that makes it make any sense either. Can someone please explain it to me in terms that someone whose library consist solely of "... for Dummies" books would understand?

yes, It is a bit wierd. But is normal. Click on "Run Reports" and then look at the "Current Balance (January, 2008)" box. Your payable commission are all there. Once they are in that box, they have been approved and will be paid in the next pay run.

The only things left on the top balance number are things that are not due to be paid yet.

Anything that has been rejected etc. will have gone but should be on another report somewhere.
