  Angry Deactivated Advertiser Notification

This intensely irritating, standard email is one of the most negative things that I associate with CJ.

Like everyone else, I'm sure, I have better things to do than waste time unnecessarily logging in and navigating to a report when you could simply tell us the name of the affected merchant within the email!!

It would be nice to finally see appreciation of the value of affiliates’ time reflected in a revised notification that actually names the merchant in question.

We can then prioritise our responses accordingly, rather than follow what has become my default course of action - to do nothing.

I thought I'd finally feed this back, but decided it would be pointless to do so directly, as it would just get ignored. I also wondered whether others might perhaps like to add their voices to the request, even though I'm sure it's been raised before.

  Re: Deactivated Advertiser Notification

Your in good company Jon it's something which has cropped up periodically in rotation on the forum through the years as an inconvenience.

I don't often log into the interface, but I was in there not too long ago cross checking which UK programs were still live & their keyword policies, because we don't get the proper desired communication format/content for closures etc by email & found quite a few progs no longer existed, also found a few new programs we were not informed they had. It was a pain staking audit having to trawl through all the programs when we only wanted to know about UK merchants, having to suffice with > control F < with the phrase "UK" or "GBP" down each page of listed merchants, because the filter options don't do the desired task & still lists international merchants (who I guess ship to the UK) & may omit a few too. A little too long & lethargic really.
