How do datafeeds work on CJ???

Hi all,

Struggling to figure out where to get hold of datafeeds from CJ UK?

I have had a good look around, but cant see anything.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Under Account tab, services, i think you need to contact them to activate them, then retrieve via ftp, well thats what i do

How do I access product data feeds?

Answer:

Product data feeds enable publishers to have access to an advertiser’s entire catalog of products. Many successful publishers use this feature to build sophisticated comparison shopping sites.

You can access product data feeds by either having the feed pushed to your FTP server on a scheduled basis, or by pulling the data from our HTTP server or an FTP server account we create for you. Click here for more information regarding scheduled product data feeds.

To request a data transfer feature or product catalog click on Contact Us and select Ask A Question. Choose the Data Transfer (Publishers) category and either Data Transfer Requests or Product Catalog as the sub-category.

You may also download a copy of the Commission Junction Scheduled Data Transfer Guide in PDF format. It contains complete information on how to receive product data feeds as well as transaction reports, commission reports and promotional link reports.

Nice on Daniel, just want to add that data feed subscription is FREE of charge for UK publishers.

Please let us know what feeds you would like to receive (after you have applied and been accepted to an advertiser’s programme) and we will set it up for you. You will be able to choose data feed’s format, delivery method and frequency.

I know I have mentioned on the phone in the past before (several times), but why doesn't CJ (part of Valueclick) integrate the product feeds into Pricerunner (part of Valueclick). Since the acquisition of Pricerunner, it just seemed a logical step & then provide affiliates with a decent API solution from this or Pricerunner White Label, which could be better than the existing one whether UK or USA.

It's just something we would like to see them develope.

If we're good enough to be accepted in the first place do we need to be revetted to pick up the tools of the trade....
