Junk Mail / Spam

Hi,
I have an email address which is used solely for Commission Junction correspondence that is now being hit by spam / junk mail.
Has anyone else had a similar problem recently?

I'm not sure how this could be happening. Commission Junction does not provide our publisher's email or other information to ANY third parties under any circumstances (excepting of course if it is approved in writing by the publisher). Additionally, we fully comply with all CAN SPAM regulations.

Out of curiousity, were you getting emails about vast sums of money due to you from different sources (e.g. Lottery both in UK and US, random 'gifts', etc.)?

Sorry, meant to address that to Paul.

At any rate, I am an affiliate and I similarly use only one email address for CJ due to sheer volume of emails I get already. I started getting an exceedingly large amount of spam on 16th May or thereabouts which would suggest my account security was compromised somehow.

Can you advise?

I started getting my junk mail around the 22nd May.

I was get junk mail at the address solely dedicated for Commission Junction also. I changed the email address a couple times and the junk mail followed me. But since the time I changed it last week it stopped, hopefully won't start again.

I dont know about CJ, but Im getting TONS of spam at my Paypal email address lately....

Hi all,

I've contacted our teams in each country to see if there was something which needed further investigation. We could not find evidence to suggest that these are anything but isolated-though unfortunate-cases.

The email addresses of publishers on the CJ network are not distributed to third party sources and Commission Junction is fully compliant with CAN SPAM. Publishers can opt to hide their Superuser address from the advertiser to which they are joined. Although this will limit the advertisers ability to contact to you, it will ensure that the address isn't used for some purpose outside the CJ network.

If you choose to hide your email address, you can still receive newsletters and email campaigns if you choose to opt in. However, the advertiser will not be
