Maybe if Nicky from CJ is around the forum she may shed some light on this issue?

    Just received this...

    Dear ***,

Happy New Year! Thank you for taking part in our Incentive programme during November and December 2002.

We have recently credited your account with the EXTRA bonus commission that you generated during November and December, we are very grateful for your support during this time and hope to continue driving your commissions during 2003.

We would like to apologise again for the down time in the tracking of leads in the CJ reporting system during November.

Any questions - please send emails to ukaffiliates@ebay.com or through the CJ mail account.

    Many Thanks

    The eBay.co.uk Affiliates Team

I just received the following email from eBay.co.uk:

I've not been credited with it but did (as was mentioned earlier in this thread) have an odd eBay transaction where about $1,500 was listed as the 'Amount' but only $4.50 as the commission.

So it looks like they have made a mistake here, but I'll be happy once it's sorted out!

Just got the letter as well, but no money. If it was that odd transaction (odd no-one told them or they haven't realised yet) then it wasn't the right amount, though it's hard to work the right amount out because of the tracking problem in November, although if I work it out from the amount of compensation I got (which may have been compensation plus bonus for November, in which case it does look about right), though it's hard to work out from the stats on the CJ system (ctd. Pg.92)

I had that odd transaction reversed a few hours ago and have just had it go through properly! So my bonus has arrived and I'm quite pleased with it!

Just worked out how much I'd have received if they'd included me in this incentive. It would have been over $1,800. Not happy!

I contacted ebay and regarding that 'odd lead' and they have replied:

Thank you for your email. Yes eBay entered the Bonus commissions as Leads but it has shown up in the report as a sale. We will rectify the problem and reward you with the correct amount.

The bonus has now been added correctly to my account.

JF, the most you could have earnt would have been $468 as you said you only got 54 leads in October. The bonus was upto a maximum of 100% of the october leads, meaning for both months you would only have got a maximum of 108 bonus leads.

    Cheers

Wardy, that's not what was originally posted at the start of this thread:

"For all leads you generate in November and December exceeding your October 02 level, eBay will pay you a BONUS commission of 100%"

But if the small print about an upper limit was omitted from the original posting at least it makes me feel a bit better!

My understanding was that there wasn't an upper limit - it was double commission on leads over and above what you generated in October.

E.g. if you generate 100 in October and 300 in November you'd get 100 at the normal rate and 200 at double commission for the November sales. If you then made 1000 in December you'd get 100 at normal rate and 900 at double rate.

Though a lot of us did well in October so there was a limited upside.

    Ooh, maybe it's me that's wrong then <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT="">
As you've said before JF, your never wrong

    Cheers
