Argos - Free £5 Voucher offer!

If you have a freebie site then this is an offer you can run this weekend.. just got an email in about it and have got the banner adverts on the site already.. any luck should get a few sales.

The deal is if you spend £50, they give you a free £5 voucher, not bad really..

Shame the % you make is so low, but can't win them all.. least get some cross media as Argos adverts are on TV just now and when folk see the banner on your site they should (I hope) click over and find something to buy.

Currently had about $450 worth of sales this weekend which will nett around £6 - not earth shattering - guess lots of people are away for the weekend, lets hope they get back and see the £5 promo before it expires

I couldn't see the point of this given it lasts such a short time and there's only 2% commission on it. You'd need to drive a lot of traffic to it just to make 20 quid.

No Argos sales this weekend, but that doesn't surprise me because I struggle to make any sales at all with them. I think it's the only CJ merchant where my EPC is below average.

So far this month for I've had just two sales ($1.83 commission) from 1,541 clicks. That's an EPC of $0.12 (compared to a network EPC of around $6).

I used to think the problem was because I was linking directly to products that sold out quickly, but 80% of my clicks are to their home page and I'm still not selling stuff.
