Is it possible to bypass the CJ qksrv link and still earn commissions on sales generated?

The reason I ask is because with this URL :
    http://www.qksrv.net/click-1159091-5835060
I link to the bet365 splash page :
    http://www.bet365.com/?AID=5835060&PID=1159091

Which Overture will not accept as an accpetable landing page for my search terms as the splash page contains no content related to the terms I pick.

So what I would like to do is link to :
    http://www.bet365.com/home/index.asp...60&PID=1159091

    Is that OK?

On a totally different note, what the hell is qksrv supposed to mean anyhow?!

Don't think that will work, because the qksrv bit sets the cookie. Will it not let you deep link using the normal CJ procedure?

I never use PPC to link directly to a merchant, If you link directly to bet365 and people don't like the look of the site, you won't earn any commission from them. If you set up a site to promote the merchant, but also provide links to other similar sites you've got a chance to earn more commission, specially as some people will sign up with more than one bookie.

    qksrv = quick serve?

I think it was supposed to be a quicker way of serving banner ads than their previous system.

    Thanks for replying JF.

Please could you explain what you meant by the normal procedure for deep linking with CJ..?

I agree, my own site could increase total sales and is something I am working on at the moment.

    RTFM!

On the "get html" screen, click on "show advanced options", then enter the destination url in the box provided.

If there isn't a "show advanced options" button, the merchant hasn't enabled deep linking.

Thanks again JF. Aplogies for asking a newbie question.

I think CJ has some great features but they always seem to be tucked away somewhere. I also personally think that the help sections suck, it took quite some effort just to find out when I would get paid which is something I thought you would be simply told from the outset.
