New Kelkoo Deal on CJ

Firstly Hello,

I have recently joined Kelkoo in their newly appointed role as Affiliate Marketing Manager (i used to manage Figleaves.com's programs). Since my arrival we have decided to make some exciting changes. The program itself now has more resources which should enable affiliates to earn more money!.

The previous deal paid affiliates based on user behaviour and in my experience and having spoken to some of you this was not earning good enough commissions. We are pleased to be able to implement a cost per lead deal, where you will earn 7p ($0.11c) per lead (which is considered a click on an orange 'MORE' button). Your thoughts on these changes would be greatly appreciated. The go Live date on CJ is 1st August 2002.

Over the next few months we will be rolling out exciting campaigns here are just a few; Special Offers (only available to affiliates & Kelkoo Club users), Shopping, Music, Entertainment, Film,and Travel. We are uploading our search functions which you can integrate into your current site. We will also have the usual banners, buttons and skyscrapers. Joined affiliates will receive a monthly newsletter with the latest news and launches.

Hi Helen,

So can you explain where the difference is from your program on Affiliate Future, where you pay 10p per click of the more info button.

I've played with this a couple of times, and find it hard to end up with 1p per click, so 7p per click of the button at CJ doesn't sound very appertising.

Thanks for the posts, all our programs will start on 7p lead base rate. Affiliatefuture is changing. We will be offering a higher rate for those affiliates who are generating more leads in all our programs.

As for paying staff on a lead basis LOL!

Funny Aquanuke! And I hope Kelkoo won't pay their staff 7p for every customer they gain for the company - a few months later of course if they don't close down like so many dot.coms we partnered with have
