www.qksrv.net/click-12345...com?SID=XX
works for me. At leats I hope it does.
Here's hoping someone knows how to do this as I've tried everything I can think of. I found out how to add SID codes to Quickserve links (by adding ?SID=XXXXX) but most of mine use URL redirection to a specific product page and wherever I add the ?SID it stops the URL redirection from working. Anyone got this to work?
www.qksrv.net/click-12345...com?SID=XX
works for me. At leats I hope it does.
On the CJ site it says "Important: The redirected destination URL must be encoded to track properly. See the bottom of this tutorial for information regarding the encoding of URL's".
The problems arise when I encode the link including the SID code.
1. IF I add the SID code at the end eg. www.qksrv.net/click-93285...?SID=12345 and then encode the link, I just get a blank page because the link is decoded as follows:
www.domain.com?SID=12345&...&PID=XXXXX when the SID code should be at the end. If I add the SID code unencoded at the end of an encoded link that doesn't appear to work either. This is driving me crazy and costing me a fortune as I can't sort out which keywords are working for me on Google, so any solution would be very welcome (have emailed CJ but it is the weekend.)
Hi MS,
Can you please email me at skingston@cj.com and I can send you through instructions.

I always put the SID parameter before any url redirection.
For example for one I use for Ebay:
Hi all
If anyone else needs the insructions, we have a document that will explain how to use this - just email me or you can email ukinfo@cj.com and request it. (Its just a bit long to submit as a comment on the forum!!).
Thanks

Thanks JF _ I was just about to post saying that I still couldn't get it to work when I took a closer look - I had been putting ?SID=XXXXXX?URL=www.etc instead of ?SID=XXXXXX&URL=www.etc.
Thank for your prompt response Susan, but the document you sent was the info I had already got from the CJ site which didn't cover URL redirection![]()
