    Hi all,

I'm about to go live with quite a large site which will mainly attract US visitors. I'm based in the UK but will probably sign up to CJ USA. My question is what currency is it best to use?

I'll probably need to change the money recieved back to sterling eventually but I want to know what exchange rate CJ uses to calculate its internal transfer between $ and £. I'd like to be able to compare it to the market rate to see what will work out for me best financially. i.e. whether I should let CJ pay me in $ and then I convert by myself later or in £.

    Does anyone know?

I am not answering your question, as the answer to that is linked to currency markets that are fluctuating all the time. There are also advantages and disadvantages when it come to circumstance.

One point I will make is that if you are aiming your marketing to the US then its best to register an address with CJ as US as for some reason even thought the internet is worldwide some US merchants wont accept affiliates from other countries.

Personally I would go for £ payments and if I didn't have a US address - I would make sure that CJ know you are marketing to the US.
