Hi,
In this week's CJ "what hot" email they mentioned a 50% of promo at Sandals. I clicked on the cj tracking link, landing on the sandals homepage, then click on the
Sandals Resorts : : Hot Sale
On this page it says:

This is stupid, CJ you should know better. Telephone number are a leakage point, which means that AFFILIATES LOSE MONEY!!!

Hi,
Spot on. It is not good to have a phone number. It is always our strong suggestion that our merchants put a technical fix in place to avoid this. For some merchants this just isn't an option for a variety of reasons.
At this time Sandals cannot create separate landing pages for their different channels. We've recommended to Sandals that going forward they do not put the phone number as a call to action in copy.
It is a great offer and Sandals are still keen to get top offers in front of affiliates. Hopefully the quality of the offer mitigates some of the leakage that could occur.
Thank you,
Daniel Powel

It is even worst to have two telephone numbers on the same page - one about half way down and a big number in the footer.
Surely they have the technical ability to either create bespoke landing pages, or to dynamically removed the telephone number if the traffic comes from CJ, it is not hard and would not take long to code.
There is no excuse for this lazy attitude.
