    Question to ebay.co.uk
Have you any plans to offer 5c per bid in the way that ebay.com currently does?

    Answer:
We are looking at improvements to our programme for 2004 and rewarding our publisher base to generate more traffic to eBay. We haven't decided if this will be for Bids as yet but we will keep you updated.

Does this reply get your hopes up or does it sound like a non comittal - but will probably do nothing reply?

I think I prefer the UK model as it is.
If they do only pay for new registrations once they have bid then the lead rate will drop dramatically and mean less commision for us.

If however they continue to pay for registrations like they do now AND also pay for bids etc then I would be for that.

    Cheers

The one ything I don't like about the current setup is taht I can send alot of traffic, that will be spending money through ebay, but if they have already registered I will n't see a penny.

I would like to see either:
$4.50 / $5 per lead plus 5c per bid from a click through

    or:
$4.50 per lead plus a % of listing/final fee if a seller or a few pence if they are a winning bidder. There fore if you refer an active member you will keep getting rewarded

You dont want the USA model.

I promote ebay usa and all I ever see is 0.05c bids... and Im thinking why dont I see registrations.

You will be WORSE off if they switch as it will favour them.

Would it be worth compiling a list of desired improvements now and send it to them?
