Anyone else got an obscenely low Barclaycard conversion rate today?

From 30% click to lead rate average to 2.9% conversion for todays stats?

I couldn't comment.......I've had no conversions for barclaycard today, whatsoever (which isn't normal!)

I went from 22% to 0% on Barclaycard today.. had an appalling day on CJ overall though..

OK I think I know what the problem is:

Are any of you on the special deal when you get paid for a sale as well as the small lead payment? (I am)

Looking at the link it just goes through to whatever page you choose with the advanced link - unfortunately the page I set up no longer seems to be working and its redirecting to barclaycard.co.uk. Normal links seem to working OK (although no idea if they are tracking)

Don't see a reason why this should affect tracking though as the cookie should still be in place.

I'm going to change my destination link now and see if it makes any difference.

Yes Im on the special rates well and in tracking is broken.

Judging from the email I've just got from Barclaycard it looks like a lot of our lead conversions may not be conversions at all..

It has transpired recently that the pixel used to track the leads generated through Commission Junction was placed on the start of an application, rather than when an application was completed and submitted - hence leading to a volume of leads having to be reversed as these were not genuine leads.

Barclaycard are scheduled to rectify the tracking problem before the end of January 2004. Until then, transactions will continue to be reversed in this manner.

I cannot believe this.

Barclaycard have extended or corrected 40% of the transactions that have gone through.

There is no way that % is a true drop off figure and I would love to know how it was calculated.

Tracking seems to be working again, of course I have no idea if this is a real lead or not as the pixel is in the wrong place.

Barclaycards IT people must be stretched to the limit if it takes them a whole month to move a tracking pixel from one page to the other
