CJ US Coupon / Deals feed

Can you let me know if the CJ US Coupon / Deals XML feed actually contains ALL the codes entered that day.

I know it only contains new codes / deals but just want to clarify if any codes / deals are missed from it.

On a manual check I noticed we were missing most of Newegg.com and Dell codes but not sure if this was an error on our part or they were not actually included in the xml feed... saves me wading through your 'messy' interface to find them.. not meant as an insult but it's just like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Also in your interface why do most codes say 'ongoing' then an end date is 'sometimes' buried in the description field.. or 'ongoing' when the code is obviously expired e.g. 'JULY10' or described as 'Back To School' so obviously not oingoing... etc.

it's bad enough not having a static merchant id in the affiliate links to be able to automate things without the above problems.. arghhh.

I'm starting to go on one now the more I type so i'll shut up :-)

Hi Lee,

We have a voucher and special offer feed for UK merchants. If you would like to receive, please drop me a line.

There is also a global special offers feed for any of your joined merchants, but it is important to note that the other markets do not have the IAB Guidelines, so the results might not be totally up to par for a UK voucher site.

I'll dig out the emails exchanged and let you know who it was, however he was initially very helpful and responded without any delays, I was asked to provide an uploads directory on our server so the files could be set to upload on a dailty basis, which I did but nothing appeared.

I contacted him again and he replied by saying it was due to the file size of codes / offers, then due to the fact I wasn't joined to any CJ merchants or the ones I was joined to didn't have any offers or vouchers.. which is doubtful.as i'm joined to most of them.

I did make the mistake by saying 'although it is urgent I understand things like this take time so no rush'... then haven't heard anything since.. perhaps I shouldn't have said that lol

I'm fairly happy with the US xml feed I found at cjbeta.com (which we have now automated) but it does seem to be missing updates on new codes such as newegg.com (which sods law is the merchant i'm most requested to keep up to date)

i think newegg has a related feed which you can access from Account--> Services.
and i think thats the case for the majority of merchants.

it would be very helpful for cj to have a "concentrated" separate feed with all that info which you can "call" and download

Sorry to dig up an old thread but we are still urgently requiring info on a complete coupon / voucher / deals feed of some sort from CJ.

We are missing loads of CJ (UK and US) deals so this is really important to us and anyone who relies on our feeds.
