As of 01 March, we are changing our rate on the marbles card so that the 0% intro period only applies to balance transfers and not to purchases.

This rate has already been tested on various media with good results. We do not anticipate a significant change in the number of applications or accounts.

Unlike when we tested 9.9% APR, this new rate will be the default rate on the marbles.com website, so it will not be the case that the customer can get a better deal on marbles by coming direct to our site.

The new banners will be available on the site from 01 March, so please could you take time to ensure that your sites are updated with the new rate?

In addition, I will be able to supply sample text for your sites and also text for an email next week.

I hope that this new rate will continue enjoy the same level of success as it has done over the last few years.
