Has anyone heard from Thomson yet and if they are going to give sales to voucher sites again?

They wont pay out on/work with voucher sites now or in the future.

There is nothing on the CJ application page to say voucher sites won't be accepted.

There is nothing on the Thomson.co.uk page itself as far as I can see, and here are the terms on the CJ application page:

# The following is prohibited from the Thomson Holidays programme: Linking directly through from PPC search engines to the Thomson.co.uk website. All PPC adverts must utilise a landing page hosted on an external site.


# Using the Thomson Holidays or Thomson brand names or similar variations as keyword or key word phrases for the purpose of targeting adverts on PPC search engines.


# Using the brand name or similar variations of other tour operators or travel companies - do not infringe on the trademarks of Thomson / TUI competitors. Keywords should be restricted to ‘generic’ terms around the Thomson.co.uk product range. Please contact us if you are in doubt as to the keyword set you are using to promote Thomson.co.uk.


# Partner site representing themselves or passing themselves off as being any of the Thomson Holidays brands or taking any action which is likely to confuse or mislead third parties to believe that such partner site is part of the Thomson Holidays brand.


# You shall not use "Thomson Holidays" or “Thomson” or any confusingly similar variation thereof in your domain name or URL. However, You can use "Thomson.co.uk" within a sub-domain or URL path provided this use is solely in connection with your activities on Thomson Holidays and not for any other purpose.


# On Thomson’s request you shall cease using any sub-domain or URL path that breaches this policy or that Thomson Holidays considers, in its sole discretion, to take unfair advantage of the name "Thomson Holidays" or “Thomson”. For the avoidance of doubt, any use of the name "Thomson Holidays" in a sub-domain or URL path is allowed under licence from Thomson Holidays, which can be revoked at any time and no ownership of intellectual property rights or goodwill is transferred as a result.


# You shall not use pop under, pop up or subsites ad formats to promote any Thomson site. Including any other format in which a Thomson Holidays page appears in a new browser window, either above the existing window or below, apart from the new browser window that opens as a result of end users clicking on your link.


Please note that PPC search engines include Espotting, Yahoo, MSN, Google and any other search engines that offers full or partial PPC advertising.

If you breach any of these Thomson Terms and Conditions, You may be removed from the Programme immediately and/or permanently. Thomson also reserves the right to reverse any unpaid commissions for transactions not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

I still don't see anything to do with voucher sites , am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi,

It says it in the Programme Description, but not in the Special Terms you quoted. Those will be updated in the future as part of a larger update. As you can see they have been in force for a while.

I should have clarified where we made the update.
