In my view, clearly the dodgiest mobile merchant out there.. and that's saying something in that line of merchants!

Let's see.. when I was with them it was over 5000 clicks and zero sales.

Oh look.. here's an interesting thread from Google groups (with some familiar names!) explaining some of their antics too.

The last time they spammed me for my support I think my reply was "I wouldn't join up with you if you were the last mobile phone retailer on earth".

Pete Taylor and Mobile Republic - would you please care to clarify - are you only under new management or are you under new ownership and new management.

...it makes a big difference because at the end of the day the sins of the company are to a large extent, the sins of the ownership.

If there has been a significant change, please confirm the name of the previous owners and the names of the new owners. Maybe then we can give the matter some consideration - 'cause at the moment you can clearly see the reaction to your "boy do we have a deal for you".....

We accept there were issues with the initial program, which is why we have addressed the issues, and re-launched. Namely there are NO REVERSALS on our program now so what you see is what you get.

Free Nokia mobile phone: The phone will not be taken back after it has been given to you as a gift.

Management: Management in key areas of the organisation have been changed - Fulfilment, customer services, finance and marketing.

Leads and sales: We have been with Cj for 3 years now. In all the tracking has been reliable. There have been some issues namely on 2 occasions and though resolved to the satisfaction of commission junction, the communication could have been better from us. I note that Username: Mogga stated in a post that commissions had disappeared but were then returned, so we never aimed and have never attempted to act unscrupulously. This was actually an error on cj's part not ours but we accept the communication could have been better.

1. We have stood back for this long to look at some of our business practises. This internal resturcture has taken almost a year. We have read all your posts about us and other merchants and have put together an attitude to affiliates that will make a major difference.

Quite right - you never reversed any of my sales on CJ exactly. You just didn't track them. However, you did reverse my only sale on DGM2 shortly before you were booted.

Sorry Henry, but I still wouldn't do business with you. Affiliates have been let down by your company on numerous occassions. Why should we believe that the leopard has changed it's spots?

We have never been directly involved in running our program in this way, we have typically left it up to the networks. Plus I am sure if there were any issues you wouldn't hesitate to let us now.
In addition if we did not care about your business we would not invest all this time in trying to speak with you, nor have erected a team for this purpose. I suppose alternatively you could skip the offer, wait a month and see, we still have a number of affiliates that have been working with us for a few years now and since Friday we are seeing a steady growth in sign ups.
