Surely there's a cut off time before they can take the money back.
Can't they just write the debt off as "bad payer"
They must be able to sue the company who owe the debt I would have though
Be Warned, just 2 days before Christmas I noticed my balance drop by £55, it says fees and had the reference CJ_Experian, I thought it was strange as I didn't work with Experian. I contacted CJ, eventually, On Friday I received a reply stating that back in 2009, yes (2009) they paid me for a short term campaign which they hadn't received money for.
This is not only very bad, but I have no idea, neither do they (hmmm) for which merchant this was as it was a short term campaign.??
Any short term campaigns I run was when CJ contacted me to run them for them.
Just be warned, even though they only pay when they receive money, they can still two or three years later decide they wasn't paid![]()
I just don't understand why it has taken this long and if they know they haven't been paid surely they know who hasn't paid?

That's what I though, What makes this worse is I don't even know who the merchant is/was (this is part of the reply from CJ)
The merchant was CJM_tbgexperian
The CJM prefix suggests it was a short term campaign and looking at the account history it ran for about 6 months.
I can see from the account that you were joined to them until Aug 2009.....
Hi Rich7111,
Apologies for this inconvenience. This may potentially be in error. Please can you send me your CJ account details and I will investigate this for you as a matter of priority.
Many thanks

Thanks Linda, I have emailed you
Rich
Just an update for anyone reading this post, Linda very kindly added the commission again and has put in safe guards to ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen again.
It took a while but it's finally sorted.
Thank you Linda
