We're committed to operating one of the best affiliates programmes available in the UK. In recognition of your continued support - and our aim to make this summer our biggest ever - we've increased our commissions by up to 100%. Earn more £££s with our 'Hot Summer Special' tiered incentive programme running from 1st July until at least the 30th September 2004.

    Up to 100% Commission Increase

eBay.co.uk is proud to offer a new improved tiered incentive compensation structure starting on 1st July 2004. Please login to your account on the 1st July, review your pending offers and accept the new compensation structure outlined below, by postponing your acceptance into the programme, you run the risk of not having all your traffic attributed into the new performance incentive tiers.

    UK Active Registration Tiers

    1 1-49 £6.00
    2 50-149 £8.00
    3 150-499 £10.00
    4 500-999 £11.00
    5 1,000-1,999 £12.00
    6 2,000-4,999 £13.00
    7 5,000+ £14.00

*A registration is considered active when the user places a bid on eBay.co.uk within 30 days of their initial registration. Registrations that do not become active within 30 days will expire. No compensation is offered for expired registrations.
Registrations are tracked as leads through the Commission Junction system.

UK Bid and Buy It Now Tiers

    1 1-499 £0.05
    2 500-1,499 £0.06
    3 1,500-4,999 £0.07
    4 5,000-14,999 £0.08
    5 15,000-49,999 £0.09
    6 50,000-149,999 £0.10
    7 150,000-249,999 £0.11
    8 250,000+ £0.12

*The eBay.co.uk programme compensates for one bid or Buy-It-Now (BIN) per click from your web site. Therefore, your site links must be used as navigation to the eBay.co.uk site prior to every bid or BIN transaction in order for you to be compensated. A bid and BIN are tracked as a sale through the Commission Junction system.

Example: Generating 346 Active Registrations a month with the June tier programme would pay £2,076 commission (£6.00 x 346). With the new tier programme 346 Active Registrations would equal £3,460 in commission (£10.00 x 346), a staggering £1,384 in extra commission!

    Getting Started
You need to manually accept the new programme terms within CJ on the 1st July 2004 to activate the tiered incentive structure above to start earning the extra commission right away. To do this, please follow the simple instructions below:

    1. Click here to login and review your pending offers for approval.
    2. Click on the eBay.co.uk link under advertiser and accept the new terms.

If you do not accept the new terms you will automatically move to these new terms within 7 days. If you have any questions, please contact us on ukaffiliates@ebay.com.

Please Note: All Active Registrations are paid at the tier commission, not just the Active Registrations over the tier. You need to manually accept the new programme terms within CJ to activate the tiered incentive structure above.

    Programme Enhancements!

    Performance Incentive Payments
We are delighted to announce that we have also agreed with Commission Junction that all performance incentives will now be paid in the same month of activity, you now no longer have to wait for two to three months to receive payments for the activity you drove two to three months prior.

You should have noticed this change in your May payments that hit your accounts around te 20th June. We hope you are pleased with the efforts we are taking to improve our programme for future growth and encourage you to give us continuous feedback.

    Terms and Conditions
We have received some feedback during the last couple of months on our changed terms and conditions and would like to clarify on some paragraphs.

    6) Domain Names and URL's. You shall not use "eBay" or any confusingly similar variation thereof in your domain name or URL. However we would like to confirm that you can use 'eBay' within a sub-domain or URL path as long as "eBay" is not the prominent part of the sub-domain as in the following example: www.jolene.co.uk/auction-place/ebay.html.

    9) Pop's (Pop Unders and Pop ups). You shall not use pop under, pop up or subsites ad formats to promote eBay.co.uk, including any other format in which an eBay.co.uk page appears in a new browser window, either above the existing window or below, apart from the new browser window that opens as a result of a user clicking on your link.

If you have any questions regarding the above clarifications please email ukaffiliates@ebay.com. You can also view the full set of terms and conditions.

    Still a load of crap.

They must have realised they were loosing affiliates and decided to try and bring a few back by giving us this new incentive.

We all know how badly it performs using this new scheme.

    Even if they were paying a million = 0 x £1 million = £0

I've put adsense links instead of eBay and am promoting ebid.com.

Even if I dont make as much at least I wont see 100s of bid & registration reversals the next day messing my report up!

If you didnt get it the email was..

    Dear Affiliates,

The eBid affiliate programme is now closing due to the programme not reaching the standards required to be a merchant on our network.

Please remove your links from the network as soon as possible as they will no longer reach the merchants site.

We are pleased to announce that QXL will be joining affiliatefuture in the next few days, so please keep an eye on www.affiliatefuture.co.uk to enable you to take the links.

If you need a hand at any time please let me know.

    Cheers

    Pete
