Argos Deeplinking & Christmas

Last year Argos "screwed" up their deeplinking in the run up to Christmas - and it didn't restart working until 26th December....

... this year deeplinking again seems to have "broken" - this couldn't be a coincidence could it???

All my Argos deeplinks are working Jason. Does this only happen when you try to create new deep links?

Deeplinks from our product feed were not working... will check some others ...

OK, haven't a clue about product feeds etc. I create my deep links the old fashioned way as I'm not as sophisticated as you and your fancy technobabble! :-) See? I don't even know how to insert a smilie!

My deep links to argos dont seem to be working is it just me or does anyone else have problems with them

for me I have had to redo the links twice, not sure why it worked the second time though. They all appear to still be ok.

Dont know if this affectes anyone but I know Argos deeplinks are one of the longest so if yoiu're storing in a database make sure its a field that can handle more than 256 characters
