EPC's, Conversion & You

Well last month has really seen things kicking off for us with some affiliates pulling all sorts of tricks out of the bag! First though the overall performance, for September the EPC for the entire program was 13p. For those of you who haven't been affiliates for that long or still cant get your head around all the abbreviations the EPC is the 'Earnings Per Click' so for example if we had received 100 clicks from affiliates last month and paid out a total of £50 commission then the EPC would be 50p. Septembers overall conversion rate was 3.3% again for those not familiar with what this means - conversion rate is how well the traffic you send to us converts into a sale so a conversion rate of 100% would mean that all the visitors sent have turned into a sale.

However we have affiliates that are approaching EPC's of £1 and some people are achieving conversions of above 15%! Well done!

Tips On Promoting Sim4travel

If you want to promote us but your not really sure how, after all there's only the SIM card and that isnt going to fill a web page is it - a good way is by examples. This is a proven way to show your visitors that yes, they can actually save money. All you have to do is pick a country, select a network & tariff then on your website you can say "If your travelling to China this year and plan to take your mobile phone then your in for a nasty surprise, you could be paying £1.65 per minute just to receive phone calls, as well as paying £1.99 per minute to make local calls and to call the UK. Tracking Changes - For The Better!

None of us like to hear about tracking problems, but this time you will. Last month our tracking was set up to report every sale made, but this just reported back as a sale. We are now in the process of changing is to report for the amount of SIM cards ordered. In most cases this wont affect you as our average order is 1.4 and this generally includes a top-up.

All affiliates that made sales last month have had their order numbers checked and bonus amounts added to their account to reflect SIM's ordered that were not reported for. A quick note to say that although our average order is only 1.4 one affiliate managed to get someone to order 9 SIM's!
