-------

Last month was great for us on a whole and as a result we have a few things that should get you moving to generate more sales with us. In this newsletter we have an iPod Nano Giveaway, Datafiles & Content Units, Ski Season and Program Performance.

iPod Nano Giveaway
We have tried to make this as easy as possible to enter so you don't have to be a big performer to be in with a chance. If you generate 2 sales in the month of October you are in the draw to win, we will pick a winner on October 31st and I will contact the winner to let them know.

Datafiles & Content Units
I've tried to make this as easy to use as possible but also easily adaptable for those affiliates with a bit more technical knowledge. A live example is at www.sim4travelhelp.com and this basically shows you what data is available, how you display this data and manipulate it is up to you. Further instructions are available at the bottom of that page as well as links to datafiles that can be used to write your own scripts.
By using a tool such as this you should be able to pre sell Sim4travel easier to your users by showing them what they can save in the destination they are travelling to and this should lead to a better conversion which for you means more visitors buying and more commission.

Ski Season
Even though the summer is over and some of you believe that no-one will buy SIM4travel until next summer. Did you know that 2 of our biggest partners are the Ski-Club of Great Britain and Nielsen Ski? This winter 1.2 million Brits will go abroad to Ski and they will spend over £400m on accessories alone. The top destinations will be France, Italy and Austria – all countries covered by SIM4travel. There is an opportunity to tap into this group because 48% of those travelling this season will book on the internet and over 80% will investigate the trip online.

The Ski-Club of Great Britain have just completed a massive survey and found that there are more skiers going in groups than ever before. These groups have to split up when skiing because they are all at different skill levels - beginners will ski on easier slopes and more advanced will go to more demanding slopes. This causes a HUGE problem as the only way they can stay in touch is by mobile phone. The research showed that every skier will take their mobile phone with them BUT are likely to run up huge bills. A quick example can be seen here http://www.sim4travelhelp.com/skicalls.xls

Program Performance
Last months EPC stands at 13p for the whole program which isn't bad at all but just to show what is possible again we have affiliates making a good amount of sales who's EPC's lie above 50p.
If there is anything you think you need to help you make more sales or to improve your conversion then please get in touch with me and ill do my best to help you generate more sales.

Kind Regards,
