Apologies for the delay in replying as I was chasing the US to get a final answer on EK.

Again the best way to ensure Editor Kits work appropriately on your site(s) with eBay Partner Network is to implement them with eBay Partner Network as the provider.

    1. Just go to the Tools tab upon signing into your publisher interface, select the program and all the dimensions/sizes/etc. that best suit your widget needs!

    2. IMPORTANT: Under Tracking Services, select eBay Partner Network as the provider, and enter your Tracking ID to ensure your links work appropriately.

    3. Click Continue and proceed to the "Preview Your Snippet" page. Just copy the sniplet code from the Sniplet Source box and you’re ready to go.

If you would like to update an Editor Kit without going to the Editor Kit create flow, please change the following variables:

    · prvd= Replace CJ provider number with eBay Partner Network provider number (CJ was prvd=1; eBay Partner Network is prvd=9).

    · track= Please replace your PID with a valid eBay Partner Network Campaign ID (CJ used track=OLD_PID; eBay Partner Network uses track=NEW_CAMPAIGN_ID)

    · &toolid=10004 Please append this varible, as shown below, in the javascript code.

    · Optional: sid= This variable can remain the same or be updated. This maps to the eBay Partner Network Custom ID (eBay Partner Network uses sid=NEW_CUSTOM_ID)

Let me know if this makes sense or if you are seeing different results.

hobbsy - thanks for the feedback on Agnieszka - she's been a real star during the migration.

Thanks, thats just what was needed to put mind at rest !
Seems to be click-tracking OK - will have to wait for the £ side of things.

Next time (although presumably there won't be one !) could ebay put up some sort of bulk link modification tool please ? - I haven't found one, so presume it doesn't exist.

At the moment there's only 3 choices:
    1. Build all the links again from scratch individually using the ebay tools.
    2. Use all the old links with some search and replace coding.
    3. Separate all the ebay tool variables, write own input form and code for constructing complete links, allowing 20 to be built at a time.

(I built No.3 for the sake of it, that might develop to work on any merchant links that need changing. A fair bit of work. Someone let me know if its saleable !)

In fact, is there a cross-network link building tool anywhere ?
Strikes me that could almost be an open-source project...

Can you confirm whether or not the eBay affiliate programme pays VAT on top of their payments to VAT registered affiliates?

If like Amazon UK the eBay programme does not pay VAT, the reason needs to be stated on the affiliate's invoices. In Amazon's case it is because of their geographic location and they provide some info on their site explaining their reasons, which you can then quote on your invoice.

I put this question to your support people, but got the following reply 'Unfortunately, we are not authorized to give you any tax advice. Please reach out to a tax advisor to get qualified advice for your question.' So I think they misunderstood the question.
