What features have been introduced?
The enhancements to the Get Links tab include an exciting suite of features, which include promotional methods designations, a new email link type, additional search options and emailing link code functionality.
How can the Get Links enhancements benefit me?
Promotional Methods -- promote your specific marketing methods to advertisers
The introduction of "Promotional Methods" (visible to advertisers on the Publisher Detail page) provides a simple way for you to indicate whether you primarily use Web content, software, search engine marketing or email marketing in your promotions. Providing this additional information in regard to your business model enables advertisers to more effectively recruit publishers, and support and optimize their offers. This information is expected to help create high-value relationships by providing advertisers with the ability to make more informed decisions when accepting and recruiting publishers. Additionally, Commission Junction plans to use these categorizations to begin offering customized support services designed to maximize your promotional method(s).
Email Links -- locate CPA offers designed for your email campaigns
Aware that email marketing is a growing sector of online marketing, Commission Junction has responded with the introduction of an email link type, which you can use directly in your email campaigns to consumers.
Additional Search Options -- search for specific ad types that will interest your targeted audiences
Promotional links (like free shipping or coupons) generally convert better than traditional links. With the Get Links enhancements Commission Junction provides you the tools to easily find the specific link type (such as sale, coupon, free shipping, etc.) that works best with your program. Whether viewing the "Advertisers With Promotions" list, accessing the promotional links directly from the Advertiser Detail page or using the additional search options (link type, size, language, country and serviceable area) on the Get Links tab, the new suite of features will provide you faster access to the best-matched advertisers and most relevant links.
New Email HTML -- email link code to yourself
The new Email HTML functionality enables you to email one or more link’s HTML code to yourself instead of having to copy and paste it from the Account Manager.
NEW PUBLISHER PAYMENT FEATURES
What new features have been introduced with the publisher payment functionality?
The highlight of the recent launch is the new publisher payment functionality that provides you with comprehensive information regarding your account's payment status. At payment time, you will no longer have to contact client services to verify what part of the process your payment has reached, such as whether the check has been sent or a direct deposit has been made. Also, you will now be able to reconcile individual payments directly against your transaction reports. This functionality enables you to more accurately track and project your earnings, resulting in better account management.
How can the new publisher payment functionality benefit me?
The new publisher payment functionality enables you to:
View comprehensive information about your payment status including details of your last payment as well as the amount and status of your next payment
Review a complete history of previous payments including the amount, date sent and payment method of every payment received from Commission Junction
View an estimate of your next payment to determine if you have earned enough to receive a payment based on the minimum payment settings
Reconcile each payment that you have received by advertiser, transaction type or by individual transaction
Associate the specific withdrawal entry of a transaction report to its corresponding payout
Ensure all the necessary account information has been provided to avoid payments being placed on "hold"
Why was the publisher initiative released?
The publisher initiative was released to provide publishers with functionality focused on the establishment and optimization of relationships within the Commission Junction network. Whether you are using the expanded search functionality to find a specific advertiser (or link type), obtaining advertiser-provided content to enable email links or adding a new promotional method to your program, each feature is designed to convert more traffic and generate more commissions through better relationships.
Also, the addition of promotional methods will help Commission Junction develop customized support services for you, in addition to upholding our Publisher Code of Conduct standards. Please note that you will need to keep your promotional methods information up to date in order to receive the most benefit from the feature.
Finally, by providing you with comprehensive information regarding your account’s payment status along with the ability to update important account information, you will be able to more efficiently manage your account.
