So your bank closed the account and because of that you now won't work with CJ - I'm confused.....
Ok i am just going to vent at the way Cj cant even get a payment right.
Since april last year i have had a head ace for £200!
So here is the story.
Cj paid me into my account, halifax went and closed that account!
So i am complaining to halifax, and i thought as normal it would be sent back to CJ and they would tell me that this happened etc the normal procedure.
I then remembered that £200 was supposed to be paid, logged into Cj and it said paid.
Ok so i send a question explain everything, and guess what they say ok we will find out.
They come back and say get in contact with halifax.
Now for the last couple of months halifax has been putting the blame on Cj's bank and Cj's bank is putting the blame on halifax.
So now i ring halifax and they tell me to tell there bank to do a swift electronic message!
So i have waited so long for just a simple normal bank procedure.
So now i am very going to work with Cj i am sticking to AW.
Anyone else had problems?
oh and if i am not allowed to or put this is in the wrong place just tell mei am a bit new :tup
So your bank closed the account and because of that you now won't work with CJ - I'm confused.....
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

Halifax is to take a bit of the blame and so am i but the whole points is, The payment was suppose to simply be refunded (like normal), and i do not know what the hell is happening, it is like a game :td
when i contact them, I simply get the reply go to your local branch!, i do and then they say its a bank issue!
I am more confused then you.
Sometimes i feel like just leaving it.
think it needs establishing where the cash acutally is
does your bank say the money has definitely been recredited back to CJ's bank ?
ask for proof of this if so.. if not then it's a halifax issue.. ask them for a cheque
if they say CJ's bank has it then get hold of someone at CJ to get the money repaid to correct account..
seem simple to me..

I have asked halifax, and they say it would normally be recredited. They say they will not look into the matter till there banks sends a swift electronic code. It seems so simple to me too but still both banks cant find the payment.
Halifax them selves are not helpful but there must be someway they can find out!
Tell CJ to tell their Bank to do a BACS Trace on your payment.
That will establish where it went and what date.
If they can't provide this information then they still have your money.
If they do provide this information you will know who has your money.
Sounds like CJ's Bank sent it to Halifax and it is probalby now sitting in a Suspense Account @ Halifax.
If this is the case then CJ's Bank needs to do a BACS Recall.
However, I suspect that without a formal BACS Trace nothing will happen..
Hi,
I am sorry to hear you are having issues receiving your payment. Although I do not have the details of your account at this time, I am sure there is a logical reason for this.
If Halifax sent the money back to us, your CJ account balance would reflect this. If the transfer failed, it would be credited back to your account. The funds should not be in limbo on our side as we have to balance our books. The funds must be logged to the publisher's account or paid.
Please email with your CJ account number and any other information you think might be helpful. I will do my best to get you a definitive answer and post back here.
Thank you,
Daniel Powel

I will email you dan.
Why they closed it well that's another long story![]()
Dan has not replied, been a while hasn't it :sneaky
I have tried contacting CJ on numerous occasions since date and nothing has been done.
So you keep the money, Even though it was going to go to a chosen charity. As the site that was being promoted was shopandhelp.info !
Hi there,
I am responding as Dan is actually away at the moment. I do know that he has looked into this for you and meant to reply - apologies if this hasn't happened for some reason.
For now I can tell you that (looking at Dan's records) the funds are not with Commission Junction, they are with the Halifax. The Halifax has given us a reference number which Dan has and can provide you with on Monday.
If you want to speak with me or anyone else in the office then you can give us a call on 020 8785 5870. If you would PM me with details of your contact with CJ since the last post I would be grateful, as I would like to look into this.
Thanks

Ok it looks like monday has gone, Any idea whats happening?
This is not the first time i have heard of the your so called "will email you etc" I have had a ticket open from 2 months ago unanswered as i was asking the same questions.
Seriously? :scared i am not wasting any more time on this. It was going to go to a charity i am currently working close with (They get revenue for 1 of my sites) And they would be more than happy to take the cash, or just let you keep it.
Hi,
We are a bit confused here – currently it is Monday at 920 GMT so not sure what you meant by ‘Monday has gone’
I would like to reiterate that Commission Junction has not kept your money, this was paid out to you.
On February 5th I contacted you by email requesting written permission from yourself with which we could request more information from Halifax. As of now, we have not received this. On several occasions we've forwarded over all available details of your payment (including those mentioned in other postings here).
Thanks
Dan
zeesweets - although many networks respond to queries on the forum, it is not an official support channel for any of them and shouldn't be treated as such.
I think that judging by CJ's responses a more private discussion would be appropriate.

Dan, i got my days mixed up there.
I have not got no email from you. Except notification that you read the email twice.
I will await a email from you, as hpops suggested we should be discussing these matters by email.
