Email List Building, Need Advice Please ...

Hi guys, I hope this is the right section for my question.

I'm new to the affiliate marketing world and one thing that all affiliate marketer keep saying is that the first and the most important thing in doing affiliate marketing is building your list.

We need to build a great squeezed page to gather your future customer emails and it is extremely important because building relationship with your customers can increase your sales conversion (which I agree to that). But every squeezed page samples that I see is always from websites that sell digital product (information) or just 1 type of product.

What if I want to build another style affiliate marketing, like retail style, blogging about physical niche products such as home-theater reviews or baby diapers review. Do I still need to create squeezed page to collect subscriber ? Or I can just use feedburner email subscription to build my list ?

I'd recommend that he use a Google GMail account due to the capacity, flexibility, and fantastic search features.

He should not get any spam initially, and if he starts getting some then the gmail filters are very effective.

GMail will also allow him to easily transfer and check mail between various accounts if that is what he eventually wants to do.
